If you leave the product on for too long or if you do not rinse it off properly than you risk skin irriation and minor chemical burns which can be painful and very itchy when healing.

Waxing.

Waxing is another poplular method of temporary male hair removal. It lasts much longer than shaving or using hair removal creams and some men report that they hair groth does not return for up to 5 weeks. It can be a painful method of hair removal as it involves applying warmed wax to your skin and then a cloth strip is placed over the wax which sticks the wax and the hair on to the underside of the cloth. The cloth is rubbed down 3 or 4 times before it is removed quickly in one sharp movement. The first strip is always the worst and after a while you can almost turn off the pain - the pain only lasts a few minutes at most.

Laser Hair Removal.

Laser Hair removal can be clinically administered by a qualified Laser Hair Removal Technician or throught the use of home laser hair removal machines. It is becoming a more popular hair removal option of permanent hair removal system for many people. It works by using intense pulsed light that is emitted from a device into the skin effecting the hair follicle and damaging it. This will over time and repeated treatments will decrease the strength of the hair growth and in some cases stop the folicle from producing hair at all.

Radio Frequency Hair Removal.

Radio Frequency Hair Removal is exactly as it sounds. By the use of a tweezers tool or by small patches are applied a radio frequency is sent down the hair shaft to damage the hair follicle and damages it, stopping it from producing hair. It is painless and th only sensation you should feel is slight tingling. You can do it yourself at home, however it can be time consuming because treating each hair can take 30 - 60 seconds.

Electrolysis Hair Removal.

Electrolysis method of hair removal not considered to be pain free, it has been reported to be  uncomfortable to quite painful. The electrolysis method is when a fine needle is inserted into the hair follicle and a small electric current is then activated to  damage the follicle and stop the follicle from producing hair. It can be done at home but you will first need to practice on your arms or legs before starting on more visible areas.
